Let \(D\) be an integral domain and \(X^1(D)\) be the set of height-one prime ideals of \(D.\) We say that \(D\) is a weakly Krull domain if \(D=\mathop\bigcap\limits_{P\in X^1(D)}D_P\) and any \(d\in D\setminus \{0\}\) is invertible in \(D_P\) for all but finitely many \(P\in X^1(D)\). \(D\) is a weakly factorial domain (WFD) if every non-zero and non-invertible element of \(D\) is a product of primary elements; \(D\) is an almost weakly factorial domain (AWFD) if for each non-invertible element \(d\in D\setminus \{0\}\) there exists \(n\in\mathbb{N}\) such that \(d^n\) is a product of primary elements; \(D\) is a generalized weakly factorial domain (GWFD) if each non-zero prime ideal of \(D\) contains a primary element. Let \(D\subseteq E\) be an extension of integral domains, \(\Gamma\) a numerical semigroup with \(\Gamma\subsetneq \mathbb{N}_0, \Gamma^*:=\Gamma\setminus \{0\}\) and \(R:=D+E[\Gamma^*].\) The aim of the paper is to study the properties of the ring \(R.\) There are complete characterizations of when \(R\) is a weakly Krull domain, an AWFD or a GWFD. Section 1 of the paper describes the case \(D=E,\) that is \(R=D[\Gamma],\) while section 2 deals with the general case. It is also shown that \(R\) is never a WFD.
