A lower bound on blowup rates for the 3D incompressible Euler equation and a single exponential Beale-Kato-Majda type estimate (English)
This paper concerns the incompressible Euler equation in \(H^s(\mathbb{R}^3)\), for \(s>\frac{5}{2}\). The authors give a single exponential bound of Beale-Kato-Majda type on the solution in \(H^s\) norm instead of double exponential estimates investigated in [\textit{J. T. Beale, T. Kato} and \textit{A. Majda}, Commun. Math. Phys. 94, No. 1, 61--66 (1984; Zbl 0573.76029)]. This result mainly depends on a new Calderton-Zygmund type bound on the symmetric and antisymmetric parts of \(Du\). On the other hand, the authors provide a pointwise lower bound on the blowup rate of the solution in \(H^{\frac{5}{2}+\delta}\), for any real-valued \(\delta>0\).
