This paper deals with the existence of arbitrarily many sign-changing entire solutions for a class of quasilinear elliptic equations. The main features of the present paper are the following: (i) the presence of a nonlinear term that oscillates either near the origin or near infinity; (ii) the effect of a small nonlinear perturbation. Under appropriate hypotheses, the main results of this paper establish the following properties: (i) the unperturbed problem has infinitely many nodal solutions, and (ii) for any positive integer \(n\), the perturbed problem has at least \(n\) nodal solutions provided that the perturbation is sufficiently small. The proofs combine several variational arguments.
