On some class of degenerate differential equations (Q446156)

The Cauchy problem NEWLINE\[NEWLINE{d\over dx} Bu(x)+ Au(x)= f(x),\tag{1}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE NEWLINE\[NEWLINEu(0)= 0\tag{2}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE is considered. It is assumed that \(A\), \(B\) are closed operators acting from a Banach space \(E_1\) into a Banach space \(E_2\) which are densely defined. Moreover, \(A\) and \(B\) are Noether operators. Under some additional assumptions, sufficient conditions for the solvability of problem (1)--(2) are obtained. Some applications to the Leontiev input-output systems are given.
