The paper deals with the mathematical modeling of the late stage of the precipitation kinetics in supersaturated metastable solid solutions. This family or problems is usually described and defined by the Lifschitz-Slyozov equations (transport equation and mass conservation equations) which describe the evolution of a solution of polymers, in which macro-particles (or polymers) interact with free particles (or monomers). Various versions of the L-S equation have been proposed to take account of various phenomena occuring in the process, and the present paper deals with another extension in which it is assumed that the monomers so involved are subject to space diffusion. The authors prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution for a large class of of relevant data and kinetic coefficients. The framework is essentially classical functional analysis.
