The notion of a centroaffine minimal hypersurface was introduced by \textit{C. Wang} [Geom. Dedicata 51, No. 1, 63--74 (1994; Zbl 0827.53010)]. An hypersurface is called centroaffine minimal if and only if its centroaffine area is extremal under variations. This corresponds to the fact that the trace of the covariant derivative of the Tchebychev vector field vanishes. As for a proper (Blaschke) sphere the Tchebychev vector field vanishes these provide a large class of centroaffine minimal hypersurfaces. Other examples are Demoulin surfaces and Godeaux-Rozet surfaces. Note also that, like Euclidean minimal surfaces, centroaffine minimal surfaces admit a 1-parameter family of deformations. In this paper the authors investigate the projective minimality of a centroaffine minimal surface. The authors obtain a classification of all indefinite centroaffine minimal surfaces whose associated surfaces are all projective minimal.
