The author considers the functional differential inclusion \[ \dot x\in F(t,x_t(\cdot)), ~~ x_{t_{0}}(\cdot)=\phi_0(\cdot),\eqno(1) \] where \(\phi_0(\cdot)\in C_{\tau}:=C([-\tau,0], \mathbb R^n), \tau>0\) endowed with the sup-norm \(\|\phi(\cdot)\|_C=\sup_{-\tau\leq \theta\leq 0}\|\phi(\theta)\|.\) For any continuous function \(x: \mathbb R\to \mathbb R^n,\) the function \(x_t(\cdot)\in C_{\tau}\) is defined by \(x_t(\theta)=x(t+\theta), -\tau\leq \theta\leq 0.\) Sufficient conditions under which problem (1) has a solution are given. Moreover, the invariance principle for nonautonomous functional differential inclusions of the form (1), and the limit inclusion method for studying nonautonomous systems are established.
