Metaplectic theta functions and global integrals (Q462824)

In the paper under the review, authors initiate the study of a family of global integrals obtained using automorphic representations on covering groups. In particular, authors study the covers of groups \(\mathrm{GL}_2\) and \(\mathrm{GL}_3\).NEWLINENEWLINEFor suitable positive integers \(n\) and \(n'\), authors convolve a theta function on the \(n\)-fold cover of \(\mathrm{GL}_3\) with an automorphic form on the \(n'\)-fold cover of \(\mathrm{GL}_2\), inducing the theta function to the \(n\)-fold cover of \(\mathrm{GL}_4\) and using the Shalika integral.NEWLINENEWLINEFor particular choices of \(n\) and \(n'\), it is then shown that the presented construction gives rise to an Eulerian integral for an automorphic form and to a Dirichlet series with analytic continuation and functional equation.
