    In this paper, the author proves a comparison principle for Lipschitz weak solutions of \[ \begin{cases} -\mathrm{div} A(\nabla u)=g,\, & \text{in }\Omega, \\ u=\psi,\, & \text{on }\partial\Omega,\end{cases} \] where \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R }^{N}(N \geq 2)\) is a bounded domain, \(\psi\in W^{1,\infty}(\Omega),g\in L^1(\Omega)\). A is a vector function \(A: \mathbb{R }^{N}\to \mathbb{R }^{N},A\in L_{\operatorname{loc}}^{\infty}(\mathbb{R }^{N})\) such that \[ \begin{cases} A(\xi)=0, & \xi\in K, \\ [A(\xi)-A(\eta)]\cdot (\xi-\eta)>0,\forall \eta\in \mathbb R^{N}\backslash \{\xi\}, & \xi \notin K, \end{cases} \] where \(K\subset \mathbb{R }^{N}\) is a Borel set containing the origin. A function \(u\in W^{1,\infty}(\Omega)\) is a weak solution if \(u-\psi\in W_0^{1,\infty}(\Omega)\) and \(u\) satisfies \[ \int_{\Omega}A(\nabla u)\cdot \nabla \varphi dx=\int_{\Omega}g\varphi dx, \] for every \(\varphi\in C^1_0(\Omega)\). The author proves weak comparison principle for solutions (i.e. if \(u_1\) and \(u_2\) are two solutions with \(u_1\leq u_2\) on \(\partial\Omega\), then \(u_1\leq u_2\) in \(\Omega\)). For that the author assumes the following: one of the two solutions satisfies a Sobolev regularity assumption on \(A(\nabla ,u)\) and the Lebesgue measure of the set, where \(g\) vanishes, is zero.
