    The strain energy density of each phase of a two-phase elastic medium occupying a bounded domain \(\Omega \subset \mathbb R^m, m\geq 2,\) is defined by the formula \[ \begin{aligned} F^{\pm}(M)=a^{\pm}_{ijkl}(e(M)-\zeta^{\pm})_{ij}(e(M)-\zeta^{\pm})_{kl},\\ \;e_{ij}(M)= \frac{M_{ij}+M_{ji}}{2}, M\in \mathbb R^{m\times m}, \zeta^{\pm}\in \mathbb R_s^{m\times m},\end{aligned} \eqno{(1)} \] where \(\mathbb R^{m\times m}\) is the space of \(m\times m\)-matrices, \(\mathbb R^{m\times m}_s\) is the space of symmetric \(m\times m\)-matrices. It is assumed that \(a^{\pm}_{ijkl}\) satisfy the conditions \[ a^{\pm}_{ijkl}=a^{\pm}_{jikl}=a^{\pm}_{ijlk}=a^{\pm}_{klij}, a^{\pm}_{ijkl}\xi_{ij}\xi_{kl}\geq \nu\xi_{ij}\xi_{ij}\;\forall \xi\in \mathbb R^{m\times m}_s\; \text{and}\; \text{some}\; \nu >0. \eqno{(2)} \] On the set of admissible displacement fields \(\mathbb{X}\) and the set of admissible phase distributions \(\mathbb{Z}'\), where \[ \mathbb{X}={W^{\circ}}^1_2(\Omega, \mathbb R^m)\; \eqno{(3)} \] where \(\mathbb{Z}'\) is the set of measurable characteristic functions, the strain energy densities take the form \[ \chi(x)(F^+(\nabla u(x))+t)+(1-\chi(x))F^-(\nabla u(x)), u\in \mathbb{X}, \chi\in \mathbb{Z}', \eqno{(4)} \] where the parameter \(t\) plays the role of the temperature. Formula (4) gives the following expression for the energy functional: \[ I[u,\chi,t]=\int_{\Omega}(\chi(F^+(\nabla u)+t)+(1-\chi)F^-(\nabla u(x))dx,\; u\in \mathbb{X}, \chi \in \mathbb{Z}' \eqno{(5)} \] By the equilibrium state of a two-phase medium it means the solution to the following variational problem \[ I[\widehat{u},\widehat{\chi},t]=\underset{u\in \mathbb{X}}{\inf}, \chi \in {\mathbb{Z}'}I[u,\chi,t],\; \widehat{u}_t\in \mathbb{X}, \widehat{\chi}_t \in \mathbb{Z}'. \eqno{(6)} \] In the case of a homogeneous isotropic two-phase elastic medium, \[ a^{\pm}_{ijkl}=\frac{a_{\pm}}{2}(\delta_{ik}\delta_{kl}+\delta_{il}\delta_{jk})+b_{\pm}\delta_{ij}\delta_{kl}, \zeta^{\pm}_{ij}=c_{\pm}\delta_{ij}, a_{\pm},b_{\pm},c_{\pm}\in \mathbb R^m, a_{\pm}>0,b_{\pm}\geq 0, \eqno{(7)} \] The aim of this article is to give the description the set of all solutions to the variational problem (6) for the case (7) under the following additional assumptions \(a_+=a_-=a\).
