The authors study the adaptive finite element approximation for an elliptic optimal control problem with both pointwise and integral control constraints. The explicit solutions of the variational inequalities in the continuous and discrete cases are obtained and a priori and a posteriori error estimates are derived. Finally, numerical test results are presented.
