In recent work \textit{M. Duchin, C. J. Leininger} and \textit{K. Rafi} [Invent. Math. 182, No. 2, 231--277 (2010; Zbl 1207.53052)] studied the length spectral rigidity problem for the space of flat metrics coming from quadratic differentials on surfaces. In this paper the author extends their results to strata of flat metrics. Let \(S\) be a surface of finite type with genus \(g\) and \(n\) marked points that satisfies \(3g + n - 3 \geq 2.\) Recall that a stratum is determined by \(\alpha=(\alpha_{1},\dots,\alpha_{k};\varepsilon),\) where \(k=k_{0}+n,\) \(k_{0}\) is the number of zeroes at non-marked points, \(\alpha_{1},\dots,\alpha_{k_{0}}\) are the order of the zeroes, \(\alpha_{k_{0}+1},\dots,\alpha_{k}\) are the orders at the marked points, and \(\varepsilon=\pm1\) is the holonomy. Theorem 1. Let \(\alpha = (\alpha_{1},\dots,\alpha_{k}; \varepsilon),\) and \(2k_{0} - 2g + \varepsilon + 1 > 0.\) Then a set of simple closed curves \(\Sigma \subset \mathcal{S}(S)\) is spectrally rigid over \(\mathsf{Flat}(S,\alpha)\) if and only if \(\overline{\Sigma} = \mathcal{PMF}(S).\) The key technical results needed for this is a new, more flexible construction of deformation families of a constant \(\Sigma\)-length-spectrum.
