In this paper, the authors consider the time-harmonic acoustic wave propagation governed by the Helmholtz equation \(\nabla\cdot (\sigma\nabla u)+\omega^2\eta u=0\), with \(\sigma\in C^3(\mathbb{R}^n)\) and \(\eta\in C^1(\mathbb{R}^n)\) being lower bounded by positive constants, such that \(\sigma=\eta=1\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\setminus\bar B\), where \(B\) is a bounded \(C^2\)-domain, and the frequency of the wave scattering \(\omega>0\). First, the scattering contribution from small obstacle components is shown also small in terms of their size, under the knowledge of the unique solution, and its integral representation, to the scattering problem with the Sommerfeld radiation condition. As a consequence, making recourse to the transformation invariance of the Helmholtz equation, the cloacked components are shown to be nearly cloacked, whereas the uncloacked component remains unaffected, even though there is scattering interactions among different components.
