There are two theorems in this paper, both pertaining to almost Ricci solitons. The first one is actually a theorem of \textit{A. Barros} et al. [Monatsh. Math. 174, No. 1, 29--39 (2014; Zbl 1296.53092)] stating that a compact almost Ricci soliton with constant scalar curvature is gradient and isometric to a Euclidean sphere. The proof provided by the author uses Obata's theorem (in contrast to the original proof of Barros et al which uses a result of Yano and Nagano and the Hodge decomposition). The second theorem states that certain almost Ricci solitons (also admitting a contact structure) are actually Ricci solitons and under certain assumptions, compact Sasakian-Einstein metrics. The main theorem used to prove this is a result of Morimoto.
