The main result of the paper under review is the following theorem. Let \(\Omega\) be a smoothly bounded convex domain in \(\mathbb C^n\) and let \((\phi_j)_{j\in\mathbb N}\subset \mathrm{Aut}(\Omega)\) be a sequence such that \((\phi_j(p))_{j\in\mathbb N}\) accumulates non-tangentially at some boundary point for all \(p\in\Omega\). Then there is no non-trivial analytic disc in \(\partial\Omega\) passing through any orbit accumulation point on the boundary. For \(n=2\) this result was proved by \textit{S.~Fu} and \textit{B.~Wong} [Math. Ann. 310, No.1, 183--196 (1998; Zbl 0955.32011)] under the more general assumption that \(\Omega\) is pseudoconvex. \textit{K.~T.~Kim} [Math. Ann. 292, No. 4, 575--586 (1992; Zbl 0735.32021)] and \textit{B.~Wong} [Am. J. Math. 117, No. 2, 279--288 (1995; Zbl 0827.32022)] discussed similar results in the convex setting in \(\mathbb C^2\).
