The authors present a \(d\)-Riemannian geometry (endowed with a nonlinear connection, a canonical linear Cartan connection, \(d\)-torsions and \(d\)-curvatures). The Lagrangian is inspired from optics in non-uniform media, i.e., from optics with non-constant index of refraction \(n(x)\). The authors investigate the equations of motion and are particularly interested in some particular cases, for which they give explicit solutions. For instance, they obtain as geodesics circular helices (parametrized by an angular velocity), some circles situated in certain planes (some are parallel to \(xOy\), and others are orthogonal to \(xOy\)), or some straight lines are parallel to the axis \(O_Z\). In the opinion of the reviewer, some of the references at the end of the paper are redundant. For example, the reviewer has found in the paper no relation with the quantum-mechanical Kepler problem, and therefore many of the references are superfluous. The only article under discussions remain [\textit{M. Neagu} et al., J. Math. Phys. 54, No. 3, Article ID 031508, 14 p. (2013; Zbl 1282.76064)], which could show a way to experimental application of Finslerian geometry and other purely geometrical theories.
