Let \(X\) be a complex analytic manifold of dimension \(m\geq 1\), let \(\Omega^q_X\) be the sheaf of germs of holomorphic differential \(q\)-forms on \(X\) and let \(D\subset X\) be a locally principal Cartier divisor. The sheaf \(\Omega^q_X(\log D)\) of logarithmic differential forms consist of germs of meromorphic \(q\)-forms on \(X\) with poles along \(D\) such that \(h\;\Omega^q_{X,x}(\log D)\subseteq \Omega^q_{X,x}\) and \(h\wedge d\;\Omega^q_{X,x}(\log D)\subseteq \Omega^{q+1}_{X,x}\) for \(x\in X\) and \(h\in \mathcal{O}_{X,x}\) defining the germ \((D,x)\). The family of \(\mathcal{O}_X\)-modules \(\Omega^q_X(\log D)\) endowed with the differential \(d\) is called the logarithmic de Rham complex Multiple residues of logarithmic differential forms with poles along a reducible divisor are studied. The kernel and the image of the multiple residue map is computed. As an application the weight filtration on the logarithmic de Rham complex is computed for divisors whose irreducible components are given locally by a regular sequence of holomorphic functions. The mixed Hodge structure on the cohomology of the complement of certain divisors is computed without using resolution of singularities and reduction to the case of normal crossings.
