A stability criterion for Fréchet's first polynomial equation (Q483327)

The author uses the direct method to extend a result of \textit{Z. Gajda} [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 14, No. 3, 431--434 (1991; Zbl 0739.39013)], concerning the stability of the Cauchy functional equation \(f(x+y)=f(x)+f(y)\) to Fréchet's first polynomial equation.
