Beginning with the definition of a strong generalized topology \(\mu\) on a nonempty set \(X\), the author proceeds by recalling the definitions of \(\mu-T_i\) axioms up to \(\mu\)-normal spaces; in a natural way \(\mu\)-compact, \(\mu\)-Lindelöf spaces, \(\mu\)-locally finite collection of subsets of \(X\), \(\mu\)-open refinement of a \(\mu\)-open cover, \(\mu\)-paracompact and \(\mu\)-metacompact spaces etc. are introduced as obvious generalizations of the corresponding concepts in general topology. Basically this short article contains only one example to show that there exists a \(\mu\)-normal space with a countable \(\mu\)-base which is not \(\mu\)-metacompact, although it is known that a \(T_3\)-topological space with a countable base is metacompact.
