Say that a cardinal function \(\varphi\) for topological spaces reflects an infinite cardinal \(\kappa\) for a class \(\mathcal C\) of topological spaces provided that if \(X\in\mathcal C\) satisfies \(\varphi(X)\geq\kappa\) then there is \(Y\subset X\) with \(| Y| \leq\kappa\) and \(\varphi(Y)\geq\kappa\). It is shown that Lindelöf degree reflects all successor cardinals and all strongly inaccessible cardinals, strong limit cardinals for the class of Hausdorff spaces and, under \textit{GCH}, all cardinals for the class of Hausdorff spaces. Some set-theoretic conditions under which Lindelöf degree reflects weakly inaccessible cardinals are also given.
