The authors provide sufficient conditions for point sets on \(d\)-dimensional unit spheres to admit Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund inequalities in the \(L^p\) norm for \(1 \leq p \leq \infty\). Moreover, they discuss under which conditions such sets of points admit interpolation with spherical harmonics.
