The authors are concerned with a generalization to higher dimensions of the Nehari univalence criterion for holomorphic functions on the unit disk in \(\mathbb{C}\). More precisely, the authors obtain an explicit extension to \(\mathbb{C}^n\), in terms of the Schwarzian derivative operator, for a family of biholomorphic mappings on the unit ball \(\mathbb{B}^n\). Their main result is an interesting generalization to \(\mathbb{C}^n\) of the Ahlfors-Weill type extension in the case of one complex variable. The paper is organized as follows. The first section is an introductory section, while, in the second section, basic notions and results, that are useful in the next sections, are presented. In the third section, the two main results are obtaind. For example, in Theorem 3.9, the authors prove that, if \(F\in {\mathcal F}_{\alpha_0}\), then \(F\) is univalent on \(\mathbb{B}^n\). Note that \({\mathcal F}_\alpha\) is the family of all mappings \(F:\mathbb{B}^n\to\mathbb{C}^n\) which are locally biholomorphic on \(\mathbb{B}^n\) and such that \(F(0)=0\), \(F(0)=\text{Id}\), \(\|{\mathcal S}F\|\leq \alpha\), where \({\mathcal S}\) is the Schwarzian derivative operator introduced in Definition 2.3, and \(\alpha_0\) is a constant that is obtained in Lemma 3.3. The family \({\mathcal F}_\alpha\) is a compact linearly invariant family. In the fourth section, the authors are concerned with the injective and continuous extension to the boundary of the mappings in the family \({\mathcal F}_{\alpha_0}\), which are quasiregular on \(\mathbb{B}^n\). In the last section, an explicit extension to \(\mathbb{C}^n\) is obtained of the mappings in \({\mathcal F}_{\alpha_0}\) that are quasiregular on \(\mathbb{B}^n\). The paper is well written and the main results are very interesting.
