This paper studies the stability of the Crank-Nicolson leaprog method when paired with the Robert-Asselin-Williams time filter that controls the scheme, restores lost accuracy and anti-diffuses. By writing this as a one-step for mulation for the simultaneous update of the three for mulae, the authors use stability theory drawn from multivalue methods to establish Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy (CFL)-like conditions on the time step.
