Jacobi structures and Spencer operators (Q488020)

This paper is related to the relationship between multiplicative forms with coefficients on Lie groupoids and Spencer operators. The authors use the Pfaffian systems on Lie groupoids, which are the main objects of the paper. The main results of the paper are given by three theorems. Theorem 1 is an integrability result. It is given the precise relationship between the classical Cartan forms and Spencer operators. Theorem 2 is the dual of Theorem 1 in the case of 1-forms. And finally, Theorem 3 presents a characterization to be involutive of multiplicative distributions.
