Let \(A\) be a unital operator algebra acting on a Banach space \(X\). Recall that \(\operatorname{lat} A\) denotes the collection of all closed subspaces \(M\) of \(X\) which are left invariant by \(A\). For a collection \(L\) of closed subspaces of \(X\), \(\operatorname{alg} L\) stands for the collection of all bounded operators on \(X\) which leave invariant each element of \(L\). For a Hilbert \(C^*\)-module \(E\) over a \(C^*\)-algebra \(A\), let \(\mathcal{L}(E)\) denote the \(C^*\)-algebra of all adjointable maps acting on \(E\), and \(\operatorname{End}_A(E)\) denote the space of all bounded \(A\)-module maps acting on \(E\). The author gives an explicit description for the invariant subspace lattice \(\operatorname{lat} L(E)\). He then shows that \(\operatorname{End}_A(E)\) forms the reflexive closure for \(L(E)\), i.e., \(\operatorname{ End}_A(E)=\operatorname{alg} \operatorname{lat} L(E)\). He also provides a short proof of a theorem due to \textit{H.-X. Lin} [J. Oper. Theory 26, No. 1, 121--138 (1991; Zbl 0791.46032)] that there exists an isometric isomorphism of Banach algebras between \(\operatorname{End}_A(E)\) and the left centralizer algebra of the algebra of `compact' operators on \(E\).
