In various applications of physical phenomena it is necessary to consider random events with probabilities taking negative, complex and \(p\)-adic values. In this paper, the author considers those numbers in \([0,1]\) that allow one ``to preserve the calculus of probabilities''. This properties are singled out and the author refers on this one ``as abstract probabilities on probability sets''. The goal of this work is ``show to what extent the main results of the classical probability theory remain valid if the measure of randomness is expressed by elements of an abstract probability set''. Moreover, the author investigates some phenomena which do not have analogs in the classical theory such as the role of independent probabilities and notions of superposition of probability spaces or the superposition of random variables.
