The authors prove a partial regularity result for viscosity solutions of the uniformly parabolic equation \[ \partial_t u + F(D^2u)= 0, \] where \(F\) is assumed to be uniformly elliptic and to have uniformly continuous first derivatives. They extend to the parabolic setting a recent elliptic result proved by \textit{S. N. Armstrong} et al. [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 65, No. 8, 1169--1184 (2012; Zbl 1255.35105)]. They obtain a \(W^{3,\varepsilon}\) estimate, which provides a lower bound on the Lebesgue measure of the set on which a viscosity solution has a quadratic expansion. The argument is based on parabolic \(W^{2,\varepsilon}\) estimates and on a comparison principle argument. Under an additional regularity hypotheses, they prove that a viscosity solution is \(C^{2,\alpha}\) on the complement of a closed set of Hausdorff dimension \(\varepsilon\) less than that of the ambient space, where the constant \(\varepsilon\) depends only on the dimension and the ellipticity.
