For the approximation of the solution of the equilibrium problem defined by a Ky Fan inequality and strict pseudo-contractive mappings a multi-step algorithm is developed. The algorithm is based on the extragradient method and viscosity approximation. It is applied for finding a common point of the solution set of a variational inequality problem and the fixed-point set of a finite family of strictly pseudo-contractive mappings.
