Parabolic competition-diffusion systems (of Lotka-Volterra type) are studied on balls and annuli. The results include asymptotic (i.e., valid for the elements of the \(\omega\)-limit set of solutions) symmetry properties of the solutions to those systems, including the so-called foliated Schwarz symmetry with respect to a unit vector. The asymptotic shape of solutions of cooperative systems is also considered.
