The author generalizes the notion of Mosco convergence to the bilinear forms on \(L^2\)-spaces for which the bilinear forms need not be the Dirichlet forms nor sectorial forms, but only assuming that the corresponding semigroups are contractive on \(L^2\) and invariant with respect to some probability measures. Then the author obtains not just the convergence of finite dimensional distributions of the corresponding Markov processes, but also a relatively compactness of the processes with additional conditions on the processes, which insures the weak convergence of them.
