Let \(\varphi(z)= t|z|^\alpha\), where \(t> 0\) and \(\alpha>0\). The author introduces the weighted Hilbert spaces of entire functions \[ H(t,\alpha)= \Biggl\{f\text{ holomorphic in }\mathbb{C}: \int_{\mathbb{C}}|f(z)|^2 e^{-\varphi(z)} dz\wedge d\overline z<\infty\Biggr\}. \] The following theorem is announced: Let \(T\) be the difference operator given by \((Tf)(z)= f(z+ 1)- f(z)\), where \(f\) is an entire function. Let \(0< \alpha< 1\). Then 1) For every \(\beta>\alpha\) and \(t>0\), \(T\) is a non-bounded, densely defined, closed surjective operator from \(H(t,\beta)\) onto \(H(1,\alpha)\). 2) There exists \(t_0\) such that for every \(t\geq t_0\), \(T\) is a non-bounded, densely defined, closed surjective operator from \(H(t,\alpha)\) onto \(H(1,\alpha)\). Only an indication of a proof is given. Remark: The reviewer was a bit puzzled by the bizarre title (and abstract) of the paper, due to an unappropriate use of the term ``sum''.
