      It is well-known that if \(u(x,t)\) is a harmonic function defined on the upper half plane, \(1\leq q<\infty \) and \(\delta >0\), then there exists a \(g(x)\geq 0\) such that \(|u(x,t)|^\delta \leq P_t*g(x)\) and \(\int g(x)^qdx\leq \int u^*(x)^{q\delta }dx\), where \(P_t(x)\) is the Poisson kernel on \(\mathbb R_+^2\) and \(u^*(x)=\sup_{|x-t|<t}|u(x,t)|\), the non-tangential maximal function of \(u\). The authors give a substitute of this result for one sided kernels and one sided doubling weights: Let \(1\leq q<\infty\), \(k\) be a nonnegative integer and \(\varphi \in \mathcal S\) with support in \([0, \infty)\). Given \(f(x)\) with bounded support, there exists a nonnegative function \(g(x)\) such that \[ |f*\varphi_t(x)|^{1/(k+2)}\leq C g*h_t(x) \] and \[ \int g(x)^qw(x) dx \leq C\int f_{k+1}^*(x)^{q/(k+2)}w(x) dx, \] where \(C\) depends only on \(k\), \(\varphi\), \(h\), \(w\) and \(q\). Here, \(w(x)\) is any weight function with \(w([x, x+2t])\leq C_w w([x,x+t])\), \(x\in \mathbb R\) and \(t>0\), \(\varphi_t(x)=\varphi(x/t)/t\), \(h(x)=x^r(1+x)^{-s}\chi_{(0,\infty)}(x)\) for some \(r>0\) and \(s>1+r\), and \(f_{m}^*(x)=\sup |f*\psi(x)|\) where the supremum is taken over all \(C_0^\infty\) functions such that there exists an interval \([0, \beta ]\) satisfying \(\text{supp }\psi\subset [0,\beta ]\) and \(|\beta|^{m+1}\|\frac{d^m\psi}{dx^m}\|_\infty\leq 1\). They apply their result to the study of the \(T_{\lambda,r}\) functions of Fefferman and Stein.
