A partition of a positive integer \(n\) is said to be \(\ell\)-regular if none of its parts are multiples of \(\ell\). Denote by \(b_{\ell}(n)\) the number of \(\ell\)-regular partitions of \(n\). A bipartition of \(n\) is a pair \(\pi=(\pi_1,\pi_2)\) where \(\pi_1\) is a partition of \(k\) and \(\pi_2\) is a partition of \(n-k\). A bipartition is \(\ell\)-regular if each \(\pi_1\) and \(\pi_2\) is \(\ell\)-regular. Denote by \(B_{\ell}(n)\) the number of \(\ell\)-regular bipartitions of \(n\). The author proves, for \(\alpha\geq 2\) and \(n\geq 0\), \[ B_7\left(3^{\alpha}n+\frac{5\cdot 3^{\alpha -1}-1}{2}\right)\equiv 0 \pmod{3} \] by using two modular equations of Ramanujan's. He also gives an elementary new proof of a result of \textit{D. Furcy} and \textit{D. Penniston} [Ramanujan J. 27, No. 1, 101--108 (2012; Zbl 1252.11083)] on \(b_7(n)\), and concludes with a conjecture on \(B_{13}\).
