The common divisor graph of conjugacy class sizes \(\Gamma(G)\) of a finite group \(G\) is defined as follows. The vertices are the noncentral conjugacy classes of \(G\), and two classes are joined by an edge iff their sizes share a common divisor \(>1\). In the paper under review the authors are interested, for a fixed normal subgroup \(N\) of \(G\), in a subgraph of \(\Gamma(G)\) obtained by restricting the vertices to those which are contained in \(N\). In a similar way they also define a subgraph of the prime divisor graph of conjugacy class sizes of \(G\). Then properties of these two subgraphs are examined. For example, both have at most two connected components, and the structure of the graphs in case there are two components is described. Also, the best possible bounds for the diameters of these graphs are obtained.
