The Conner-Floyd bordism exact sequence -- a new perspective (Q497983)

This paper gives an alternative description of the relative term in the Conner-Floyd bordism exact sequence. This relative term is defined as the sum of bordism groups of the classifying space of an extension by an orthogonal group of the Weyl group of \(O^{H}\) modules of subgroups of the group \(G\) which acts. The results apply to unoriented and unitary theories as well as to oriented and special unitary bordism, for which the authors introduce bordism groups with twisted coefficients.
