In the present paper the author constructs a curvature flow in order to unify the pluriclosed flow and the symplectic curvature flow introduced by \textit{J. Streets} and \textit{G. Tian} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2010, No. 16, 3101--3133 (2010; Zbl 1198.53077); J. Reine Angew. Math. 696, 143--185 (2014; Zbl 1305.53083)]. Also, the author proves the short-time existence for this flow and presents an obstruction to long-time existence.
