The authors have studied a general version of Montel's theorem in several variables as well as a Montel-Popoviciu type theorems for functions defined in \(\mathbb{R}^d\) for \(d>1\). It is remarked that the proof of this result also holds for \(d=1\). The paper concludes with a discussion of the interesting fact that Popoviciu's original theorem is optimal.
