Let \((N,h)\) be a smooth Riemannian manifold of dimension \(n+1\) with boundary \((M,g:=h|_M)\). Let \(\partial_\nu\) be the outer normal of \(M\) in \(N\). The Steklov eigenvalue problem takes the form \(\Delta_h\phi_\lambda=0\) and \(\partial_\nu\phi_\lambda=\lambda\phi_\lambda\) on \(M\). These are, of course, the eigenvalues of the Dirichlet to Neumann problem. Let \(N_\lambda\) be the nodal set of such an eigenvalue assuming that \(0\) is a regular value of \(\phi_\lambda\). Let \(H^{n-1}\) denote the \(n-1\)-dimensional Hausdorff measure. The authors show \(H^{n-1}(N_\lambda)\geq C\lambda^{\frac{3-n}2}\) where \(C=C(N,g)\).
