The authors consider the so-called admissible continuous set-valued maps with compact attractors and satisfying some compactness conditions stated in terms of measures of noncompactness and prove a general version of the Lefschetz-type fixed point theorem along with some corollaries. Some relations of theis result with the so-called asymptotic conjecture are discussed. No examples of applicability are provided.
