Let \(X\) be a Banach space and let \(F: C([-r,0],X)\to X\) be a bounded linear operator. The aim of this paper is the study of the existence of invariant stable and center-stable manifolds for the solutions of nonautonomous partial neutral functional differential equations of the form \[ \frac{\partial}{\partial t}Fu_t=B(t)\,F u_t+\Phi(t,u_t)\,,\quad t\in(0,\infty)\,, \] \[ u_0=\phi\in C([-r,0],X)\,, \] in the case in which the evolution family \((U(t,s))_{t\geq s\geq 0}\), generated by the family of linear partial differential operators on \(X\) and possible unbounded \((B(t))_{t\geq 0}\), admits an exponential dichotomy or trichotomy on the half-line, and the nonlinear delay operator \(\Phi\) satisfies the \(\varphi\)-Lipschitz condition \(\|\Phi(t,\phi)-\Phi(t,\psi)\|\leq \varphi(t)\,\|\phi-\psi\|\) for all \(\phi,\psi\in C([-r,0],X)\) and \(\varphi\) belongs to some admissible function space on the half-line. The authors extend, to the above situation, the methods of the paper [\textit{T. H. Nguyen} and \textit{V. D. Trinh}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 411, No. 2, 816--828 (2014; Zbl 1332.34110)] where the case \[ \frac{\partial}{\partial t}u (t)=B(t)\,u(t)+f(t,u_t) \] was studied.
