In this interesting and well-written paper, the author studies aspects of linear dynamics and ergodic theory associated with bounded linear operators on Banach spaces. Central limit theorems are proved, and the decay of correlations is investigated. Several concrete examples are discussed, and a number of open problems are pointed out.
