This work considers a free boundary problem for the system of Navier-Stokes equations describing an incompressible liquid in the case, when gravity and the surface tension are taken unto account. Analysing the operator spectral properties on the complex plane, the decay properties of the solution are proven and power-law bounding time asymptotics are derived.
