If \(K\) is a compact set, then its distance set \(D(K)\) is \(\{|x-y|: x, y \in K\}\). The author proves that the packing dimension of the distance set equals to \(1\) for any non-empty \(s\)-Ahlfors-David regular set \(K\subset {\mathbb R}^2\).
