The article under review is situated in the interplay of cluster theory and representation theory of quivers. Its goal is to generalize certain results and constructions associated to cluster-tilted algebras to more general kinds of algebras. To be more precise, the author defines the set of \(c\)-vectors associated to any finite-dimensional associative algebra over an algebraically closed field. The author also proves that the \(c\)-vectors associated to any such algebra are \textit{sing-coherent}. This means that each \(c\)-vector is a non-zero integer vector with either non-positive or non-negative entries. Moreover, it is proved that a positive vector is a \(c\)-vector if and only if its opposite is a \(c\)-vector. Therefore, to study the set of \(c\)-vectors of an algebra it is enough to study its subset of positive c-vectors. An important property of the set of positive \(c\)-vectors associated to a cluster-tilted algebra \(A\) is that it is equal to the set of dimension vectors of the expectational \(A\)-modules. The author is able to generalize this result for quasi-tilted algebras and representation-directed algebras.
