With prime \(p\neq 2\) and \(K\) a finite degree field extension of \(\mathbb Q_p\), the author considers certain Frobenius iterate extensions \(K_{\infty}/K\); see [\textit{B. Cais} and \textit{C. Davis}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 2015, No. 14, 5473--5517 (2015; Zbl 1342.13028)] for this term, where it is observed that if \(K_{\infty}/K\) is Galois, then it is abelian. Here it is shown that in this case, \(K_{\infty}\) is contained in the extension of \(K\) generated by the torsion points of a certain relative (in the sense of E. ~de~Shalit) Lubin-Tate group. The proof ``involves generalizing the construction of Coleman power series, constructing some \(p\)-adic periods in Fontaine's rings, and using local class field theory.'' The article closes with an explicit example.
