The declared aim of this book, as indicated in the back cover, is to offer a ``comprehensive survey of intuitionistic fuzzy logics'' and therefore the reader could be mislead in thinking that the book is also meant to be an introduction to the topic. Nevertheless, even the first of the four chapters, entitled ``Elements of intuitionistic fuzzy propositional calculus'', cannot be considered an introduction to the subject. In general, the book is a summary of the author's ideas and results in this field of research, and can be of interest to researchers who, having a thorough knowledge of the subject, are mainly interested in the work of the author of the present book.
