The authors consider a Cauchy-Dirichlet problem for a parabolic \(p(x)\)-Laplacian operator. They prove the existence of weak solutions following a semigroup approach. The uniqueness comes from the Gronwall Lemma. This approach allows the authors to study the regularity of weak solutions and the asymptotic convergence to a steady state.
