      The following initial value problem is considered: \[ \begin{aligned} u_t = u^2(1 - u) - u(1 - u)&\frac{\int\limits_\Omega {u^2(1 - u)dx} }{\int\limits_\Omega {u(1 - u)dx} }, \quad x \in \Omega ,\quad t \geq 0,\\ u(x,0)&= u_0 (x),\quad x \in \Omega, \end{aligned} \tag{P} \] where \(\Omega \) is an open bounded subset of \(\mathbb R^N\), \(N \geq 1\) and \(u_0 \) is a bounded function in \(L^\infty (\Omega )\). The paper is organized as follows. Section 1 is an introduction. Some results from the work of \textit{T. N. Nguyen} [Differ. Integral Equ. 29, No. 9--10, 939--956 (2016; Zbl 1374.35067)], dealing with the well-posedness of the Problem (P) as well as with the existence of invariant sets, are recalled in Section 2. In Section 3, it is shown that Problem (P) possesses infinitely many Lyapunov functionals, and the property to study the limit of the nonlocal term is used. Finally, in Section 4, the \(\omega\)-limit set for initial data satisfying some conditions is characterized.
