Finiteness of simple holomorphic eta quotients of a given weight (Q507230)

The paper studies holomorphic, positive and quasi-irreducible eta quotients, i.e., a special type of finite products of Dedekind eta functions and gives a simplified proof of the result by \textit{G. Mersmann} [Holomorphe \(\eta\)-Produkte und nichtverschwindende ganze Modulformen für \(\Gamma_0(N)\). Bonn: Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn (Diplomarbeit) (1991)] obtained earlier, which says that there are only finitely many eta functions of above mentioned type and given weight. The result is known as Zagier's conjecture.
