    A complex number \(z \in S^1\setminus \{1\}\) is a \textit{Knotennullstelle} if there exists a Laurent polynomial \(p(t) \in \mathbb{Z}[t, t^{-1}]\) with \(p(1) = \pm1\) and \(p(z) = 0\). Two oriented \(m\)-component links \(L\) and \(J\) are concordant if there is a flat embedding into \(S^3 \times I\) of a disjoint union of \(m\) annuli \(A \subset S^3 \times I\), such that the oriented boundary of \(A\) satisfies \(\partial A = -L \cup J \subset -S^3 \cup S^3 = \partial(S^3 \times I)\). Let \(\sigma_L(z)\) and \(n_L(z)\) be the Levine-Tristram signature and nullity of the hermitian matrix \(B(z)=(1-z)V+(1-\bar{z})V^T\) where \(V\) is a bilinear Seifert from associated with a Seifert surface of a link \(L\). The main result of this paper is the following: Theorem: The link invariants \(\sigma_L(z)\) and \(n_L(z)\) are concordance invariants if and only if \(z \in S^1\setminus \{1\}\) does not arise as a Knotennullstelle. It was known previously [\textit{J. C. Cha} and \textit{C. Livingston}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 132, No. 9, 2809--2816 (2004; Zbl 1049.57004)] that for any Knotennullstelle \(z \in S^1\setminus \{1\}\) neither \(\sigma_L(z)\) and \(n_L(z)\) are link concordance invariants. In particular for any Knotennullstelle \(z \in S^1\setminus \{1\}\) there exists a slice knot \(K\) with \(\sigma_K(z)\neq 0\) and \(n_K(z)\neq 0\).
